A Good Excuse To Avoid the Grocery Store Next Week

Tulsa's 10th annual Restaurant Week starts Saturday, and this year is shaping up to be quite the treat. Over 40 restaurants are offering special prix-fixe lunch and dinner menus. And while their delicious selections will surely fill your stomach, they'll also fill your soul and give you some good karma heading into the fall. Here's why:

At the end of the 10-day celebration, the participating restaurants will donate 10% of their sales to the Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma's Food for Kids program. AND our partners at the George Kaiser Family Foundation will match those proceeds up to $25,000.

But that's not the only reason you should go. Most of the participating restaurants are owned by local entrepreneurs. What a great opportunity to show them some extra support (without putting a strain on your wallet).
