Aaron Bean is the founder of Asemio, a technology consulting company helping community-based organizations use data for social good. (He's too humble to mention this, but Aaron and his team are doing INCREDIBLE work with nonprofit organizations across the country. Check out all the people they've helped.)
Where and when do you get your best ideas? From the friends, colleagues, and mentors I turn to often for advice.
What’s a work tool or ritual that you couldn’t live without? Daily prioritization is a necessary ritual, and the G-suite platform changed how we run our business.
What skill would you like to master? The skill of storytelling is a beautiful skill to master.
What advice would you give to someone seeking to launch or grow a business? The combination of an indomitable will and humility is powerful.
What’s a big “win” you experienced in the past year? Seeing the high-quality performance of a well-formed team.
What are you most looking forward to in the year to come? The new and continued work we are doing with partners around the nation who are working to change communities for good.
Why 36 Degrees North? It’s wonderful to be a part of a community of innovators, visionaries, and determined individuals. (Note from 36°N: Aaron and his team are a great example of a company that doesn't actually work out of our space- they have a cool office around the corner from us- but is still plugged into our ecosystem.)
Do you want to give any shout-outs? I'm continually grateful for the generosity of the Tulsa community and willingness to invest in innovative organizations that level up our community.
