What are 3 things you are most passionate about?
If you were an inanimate object, what would you be?
A paper planner: a little old-school, but so darn helpful when you need it
Tell us about being an entrepreneur yourself!
My passion has always been to empower entrepreneurs and one way that has manifested in my life is running my own business for the last 4 years supporting solopreneurs and small teams with goal-setting, productivity, and optimizing their own processes and systems. The way I have served my community has shifted and changed over the years but taught me so much about the journey from that initial inkling of an idea to planning it out to executing on those awesome plans to dealing with the failed attempts and finally finding something that works.
What are your favorite things to do in your free time?
Puzzles, concerts, reading a book while enjoying the sunshine, spending time with my daughter, husband, and 3 pups, gardening, and editing the nonfiction book I’ve been writing for the past 2 years (hoping to finish it soon!)
If you could splurge a whole paycheck on any activity, what would it be?
A weekend trip to Vegas for back-to-back Jonas Brothers concerts– hanging out by the pool during the day, spa in the afternoon, dancing and scream-singing every word along with my favorite band and thousands of others fangirls
What characteristics do you most admire in others?
What do you love about Tulsa?
Being a lifelong Tulsan (with a brief 8 year tour to Nashville), I have had the opportunity to see Tulsa grow and change and evolve, especially over the last 10 years or so. The excitement and vibrancy of the opportunities that are now available to Tulsans is contagious. Seeing innovation and forward thinking come to life in real tangible ways and the pride that stems from those efforts — gah, it’s just so darn inspiring that you WANT to be a part of it.
