Q&A with Jamie
Where are you from and how did you end up in Tulsa?
I am a Tulsan, through and through. I was born here, grew up here, went to college here, and have stayed here in the years since. To me, Tulsa has always been magic. I have loved watching it really come to life around me in the past few years.
What are your favorite things to do in your free time?
I love reading books and testing my personal hypothesis on how much coffee I can consume before my body actually shuts down. I’ve loved both of those things for a long time. However, my newests hobbies include daring people to do The Worm in public places and budgeting. Yes, budgeting. It’s the weirdest thing ever, but I swear I get endorphins from a perfectly balanced spreadsheet!
Favorite local restaurants?
Oh man, there are so many. I love Lone Wolf, Atlas Grill, and Foolish Things. There are too many amazing restaurants downtown!
Favorite memory of 2020 so far?
I’m going to go ahead and project that my favorite memory of 2020 will be getting married in May!
What song would you sing at Karaoke Night?
Easy. No Air - Jordan Sparks ft. Chris Brown. Iconic.
If you could splurge a whole paycheck on any store, which store would it be?
Home Goods!!! I can spend hours trolling around in there.
What are three things you would take with you on a deserted island and why?
What characteristics do you most admire in others?
Sincerity, humility, and hilariousness.
