OK Coders

OK Coders was founded in 2014 as a partnership between the University of Oklahoma’s Center for the Creation of Economic Wealth and local startup Tailwind to meet Oklahoma’s growing demand for software developers. Oklahoma’s nascent startup scene combined with its high quality of life and low cost of living is attracting national attention, but there is an unmet demand for technical talent. OK Coder’s vision is to deliver a high quality software development curriculum that prepares graduates for work in Oklahoma’s information technology companies.

OK Coders held its first ten week bootcamp in Oklahoma City in the summer of 2014 and graduated a class of twenty-five. We have now trained nearly 100 new developers in Oklahoma City and Tulsa.
